The majority of tests that our doctors order are performed in the laboratory within Brenham Clinic and reported to the doctor the same day. Unusual testing is sent to a reference lab and results may be 2-3 days in reporting.

Yes. Simply provide a copy of the order from your doctor and we will fax results to your physician as soon as they are available. Please be sure to include your doctor's full name, UPIN number, your diagnosis (for insurance purposes only), and the phone number and fax number of your physician's office.

A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse with an advance education and training in the clinical specialty in which he or she works. A Geriatric Nurse Practitioner focuses on the treatment pertaining to the elderly by working with Clinic physicians. A Woman's Health Nurse Practitioner works alongside Obstetricians and Gynecologists to deal with problems of infertility, menstrual disorders, breast disease, and normal or complicated pregnancies. The nurse practitioner is capable of working independently in solving patient-care problems and works with the health care team.

Sometimes there can be a delayed reaction to your allergy shot, so it is recommended that you wait up to 30 minutes after receiving your shot and have the nurse check the injection location for any irregularities.
